Ok, just some info for all you peoples out there.

Two new in-game LS things occuring starting November. Lance pitched the idea to have an LS member of the month, this member is voted for by the other members of the ls at the end of each month and tallied by the previous months winner. The person tallying the votes can not be voted upon again, this way the same person will not be voted twice in a row. The reward, you ask? Well, we simply ask that each member of the ls send the winner 5000 gil. Out of our own pocket, this isn't that much money but it will be a substantial reward for the winner. I will be the tallier for the first member to get the ball started, and then we will continue from there.

The second thing is we will be having induction ceremonies for the ls. This will be ls wide event, I would like more participation in this than in Eco War (speaking of, we are having it sunday starting @ 9:30 PM EST!) All members of the ls will be inducted in what I would like to see a major event, and after this initial induction, all new members will be inducted saturdays @ ~6 PM EST. We will take a screenshot of each members induction and post it on the website. If you really want to be a member of the ls, you should want to have a nice large induction :)

Last, but not least, a new website is in the works at a addless and permenant address.

So come on, lets get some good ol fashion guild participation from you guys out there. encourage your ls members to do good deads and hang out with each other, also, actively recruit some new members while your at it! I know some of you all are grouping out there, keep an eye out for good members. I know not all of you are dead, even if you don't have a pearl sack, you can still recruit! I've gone to the ends of Vanadiel for new members, i'll do it again.

I've played many MMO's throught my life, but I told myself I would approach FFXI w/ out the powergamer mentality. I wanted to play the game to enjoy the story, the world. So many people don't care about the hard work the creators put into these things. They want to be the best, to level the fastest, to be the highest, to reach the highest milestone. I lost this feeling for a while, I know exactly why but that isn't the point of this post.

As I was reading through the Allakhazam forums I came across this thread. It brought a tear to my eye, and I can honestly relate with the whitemage in it. I'd like you all to read it, even if you think it is stupid or lame.

With that said, the LS is going through some tough times. Some memebers aren't playing as much due to real life reasons, and for some of them it is out of there control. I just ask that you guys stick it out, but if you don't I'll understand.

Like the whm in the above story, this LS is my home, I've been given countless others, but since I've created this one I have yet to take it off for any reason. If you leave, and some day you decide to come back I will be there to welcome you to vanadiel and listen to your stories.

I've decided to start recruiting again, so spread the word when your in parties, events and such. Remember to only invite people who you feel you would like to see and talk to in the LS and who will be able to uphold and agree with our rules. whoa whoa whoa... i leave for a little while to go study a little for mid terms and take care of some personal problems, and i come back to "/amazed"... wtf is going on ppl :P well.. after tomorrow (oct 15th) i should be able to get online and start playing again... too bad i'm poor, stuck in the jungles, and can't lvl up cooking >.< well, just gotta stay in jungle for a couple of lvls then i'm out of there. see you all in game soon :)

ps- for all those ppl who haven't experienced the jungles yet... uh... um.... ... it just plain sucks in my opinion :P well, enjoy the game while you guys can, cause you'll all eventually come to some place you just don't wanna go... *Xavina thinks of jungles... shudder*
